What to pack for a weekend in Europe - Winter Edition

February 1, 2019

Not too long ago I did a post called What to pack for a weekend in Europe - Summer Edition, which told you what to pack on a trip to Europe, and stated that Europe is a vast continent which contains 50 different sovereign states and 6 with limited recognition which include a polar north and a subtropical south.
Last month I visited Berlin in Germany for four days, this was my first ever time visiting the country and I was so excited and can't wait to tell you all about it in my upcoming blogs, although I am not sure when they will be coming out but will be in the near future. But here are my recommendations for what to pack on for a winter weekend in Europe!!
- 5 times underwear to be safe
- 1 pair of pyjamas
- 2 times thick jumpers, as the weather is meant to be highs of -1 and lows of -7 also planning on wearing one to the airport
- 1 thinner jumper for a possible night out
- 2 times thin t-shirts for layering under jumpers and tops
- 1 t-shirt for the hostel or hotel
- 1 pair of jeans will travel in these
- 1 pair of trousers for a possible night out or in case the other pair get wet
- a thick coat
- Hat, Scarf and gloves!!!
- An umbrella
This list is obviously just a rough list and all down to personal needs, as we were travelling hand luggage only which could be seen as a challenge, especially if you're like me and travel with at least 2 cameras but somehow I managed to make it all fit and I would 100% recommend the bag which I travel with and it was my Kanken although it could be slightly sore on the shoulders it was only because I had my straps tight as was very aware of my cameras.

I would recommend packing cubes, as this I found to be a massive help as it limited what I could pack and also kept everything together so it wasn't a struggle looking for little things
Overall a weekend in Europe is what you make of it and the clothes which you need all depend on you, we knew weren't going for the booze (that was just a bonus) we wanted to explore the cities.
