Dreamed of Orlando? Been thinking about visiting Disney and Universal? Orlando Florida has everything you want and so much more, from waterparks to outlet shopping, Orlando has it all. On top of all of this, you have more restaurants then you could ever envision on International Drive.

Getting to the USA from the UK was extremely comfortable as we flew direct from Manchester to Orlando International with a flight time of approximately 9 hours flying with Virgin Atlantic. With inflight entertainment, the flight flew which may be something to note if you're an anxious flyer.

When in Orlando we stayed at the Enclaves Suites which was just off International Drive. We'd hired a car which we picked up at the airport and drove to the hotel which was approximately a 20-minute drive. The hotel was delightful, with two pools, one indoor and outdoor. We were lucky enough to have a large balcony which allowed us to have the immaculate view of the Universal Studios fireworks every night.

In my personal opinion, being just off International Drive is the best place to stay in Orlando, as it gives you some distance between yourself and the parks. As from my experience having the distance is significant, as you spend all day in the parks and we somedays did more than in a day. Staying on International Drive allowed us to see more of Orlando than just the parks. On top of this, you also have a much wider choice of restaurants, from quick and easy meals such as McDonald's to sit down meals in restaurants such as Game Changers.

Enclave Suites was also a great location as it was easy to access to the parks as we were 5 minutes away from Universal Studios and were able to get a free shuttle there and back. We could also get the free shuttle to SeaWorld which was approximately a fifteen-minute drive away. We drove ourselves to the Disney parks which were approximately a fifteen-minute drive from the hotel.

Until the next month,

Ashleigh xx
